Requirement: To supply all labour, material and equipment
required to carry out snow plowing and removal, and spread
sodium chloride and treated abrasives, for the Department of
National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston, at their
Fort Frontenac, Normandy Hall and Kingston Armoury sites in
Kingston, Ontario, Canada in accordance with the Statement of
Work from date of Contract award to 15 April, 2015 with a one
(1) irrevocable one-year option allowing Canada to extend the
term of the contract.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 10:00
a.m. Bidders must meet at 6 Moro Street, 1st Floor Canteen,
CFB Kingston, Kingston Ontario.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than 2 days prior to confirm attendance and provide the name(s)
of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to
sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid
that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not
attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative
will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will
be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to
the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
