Amendment no. 001 is raised to extend the solicitation closing
date from March 26, 2013, 2:00 PM to April 3, 2013, 2:00 PM

Requirement:
The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
procurement of body inflation device, manual and automatic
inflation of aircrew life preservers, used in ejection seat
equipped aircraft.
The following part numbers are the only ones acceptable due to
the key way and mounting location. It is a critical piece of
life support equipment for the pilots as their life depends on
its functionality therefore no substitute is requested.

Option Quantity - estimated:
This requirement also includes three options. Each option is to
purchase additional estimated quantity from a minimum of 50 each
up to a maximum of 100 each to be delivered to Montreal, QC.
Option 1 is exercisable within 12 months from contract award.
Option 2 is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
Option 3 is exercisable within 36 months from contract award.
Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and
is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.
Enquiries:
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
