Title:
Electrical Feeder and Distribution Upgrade

Location:
Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, BC

Refer to the Special Instructions to Bidders SI01 paragraph 3
(and Appendices 2 and 3) for requirements related to the Code of
Conduct for Procurement.

Work Description:
Work under this contract covers the installation of electrical
feeders and electrical distribution components at Port Hardy
Airport. The Airport must remain operational throughout the
construction. Work includes, but is not limited to:
Replacement of the existing 347/600V, 3 Phase and 120/208V, 3
Phase Essential Distribution Panel located in the Field
Electrical Centre
Replacement of the 347/600V, 3 Phase Airport Terminal Building
Essential Feeder
Replacement of the 347/600V, 3 Phase Airport Terminal Building
Normal Feeder
Replacement of the 2.4kV, 1 Phase Glide Path Building Feeder
Replacement of the 10 kVA, 2.4 kV, 1 Phase - 120/240V, 1 Phase,
Glide Path Building outdoor unit substation
Replacement of the 10 kVA, 2.4 kV, 1 Phase - 120/240V, 1 Phase,
Localizer Building outdoor unit substation

Site Visit:
There will be a site visit on August 10, 2012 at 10am.
Interested bidders are to meet at the Airport Manager's Office,
Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, B.C.

Construction Time:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twelve
weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
is estimated to cost between
$100,000.00 and $150,000.00.
