REQUIREMENT: The Esquimalt Graving Dock has a requirement for Azobé wood (also called Ekki or red ironwood). In this application, as fenders/bumpers and sealing surfaces for the Esquimalt Graving Dock caissons, the wood must be resistant to elements such as extreme stress, bumping tugging, extreme impact, constant salt water exposure, hot and cold weather conditions. The product must not deteriorate over long lengths of time, and have excellent resistant to insect attacks.
DELIVERY DATE: All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2020. The best delivery date offered is _________ weeks after Contract Award.
DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
