Nature of Requirements:
Asbestos, Lead, Mold Abatement
The requirement is for Standing Offers for the provision of
labour, tools, equipment and materials for the removal of
Environmental Contaminants such as asbestos, lead and mould from
buildings under the control and jurisdiction of Department of
National Defence in the Ontario Region. Offerors must submit
offers to provided services at all or any of the following
geographic areas: Trenton/Belleville, Petawawa, Kingston, Borden
and North Bay. The period of the standing offers will be from 1
August 2012 to 30 June 2013 with the right to extend for one
additional one year period.
Offerors must demonstrate that they have a minimum of three
years documented experience in asbestos and lead abatement and
mold remediation. Further details are provided in the Request
for Standing Offer.
The Offeror and their personnel must be familiar with the Fire
Safety Requirements in place at the Canadian Forces Base where
work is to be performed and must attend a Fire Safety Briefing
if requested.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
