The objective of the development of the work and materials under this contract is to enable further preparedness of federal-provincial-territorial (FPT) governments and industry to humanely depopulate and dispose of healthy animals impacted by a large-scale market interruption (e.g. border closure), by providing tools/templates and guidance to support decision making around, and implementation of, depopulation and disposal methods.
