Boiler room maintenance
Quebec Base, 101 Champlain Blvd, Quebec
Description
Provide skilled labor, materials, equipment, tools or other
supplies or knowledge necessary to perform the work and provide
transportation and supervision required for the maintenance of
the boiler to the Quebec Base, 101 Champlain Boulevard, Quebec,
P.Q., for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, as detailed
on the PWGSC Specifications No. R.001991.001 dated March 2013,
in accordance with Appendix A of the Request for proposal.
Optional Site Visit (**SEE IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW**)
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on July 18,
2013 at 9:00 AM. Bidders are requested to communicate with the
Contracting Authority before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend.
** Important Note **
The bidder must consider the fact that when he is present at the
visit, he must pass at the gate and take the time to register
before permission to enter the premises. This means that it can
and it is out of our control that he must wait before being
served for several reasons, such as: Goodwill at registration,
one at the home temporarily absent for an emergency, etc...
It should be noted that the site in general and places of work
are vastly different from the private sector. The context of the
place is a government operation site of Canadian Coast Guard.
Many government operations consider several legal and
operational elements for the safety of all Canadians, which
determines the possible maintenance outages that can not be
planned.
Duration of contract
From contract award until August 31, 2014 with the possibilité
of a four-year extension.
Mandatory criteria prior to contract award
-The contract includes requirements for security.
- Code of Conduct Certifications - Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification
Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been
received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada
will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide
the information. Failure to comply will render the bid
non-responsive.
Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
completed and signed consent forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide
such consent forms within the time period provided will result
in the bid being declared non-responsive.
