To provide janitorial services for the National Research Council, 75 de Mortagne Boulevard, Boucherville, Quebec for a period of two year from May 1, 2015 to March 31, 2017 with an option to extend the Contract for an additional three one-year periods

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

The following requirements are mandatory for the consideration of the proposal. Proposals that do not meet all requirements as further set out will be disqualified and no further consideration will be given.

The proposal must contain the following:

MC1 Certifications:
Certifications must be properly completed and submitted with the proposal. Certifications required are:

a. Submission of Bid Financial Security

b. Proof of maximum insurance coverage
currently carried as:

1. Comprehensive General Liability
Insurance

MC2 Site Visit/Inspection Tour:
It is mandatory that the Contractor or a representative of the Contractor visit the site and examine the scope of work required and the existing conditions. Proof of attendance form to be signed at the Site Visit and briefing session.

MC3 Management/Technical Proposal:
5 copies must be provided

MC4 Separate Financial Proposal:
2 copies of a Financial Proposal must be provided and submitted separately including the CD copy.

MANDATORY BIDDERS MEETING

NRC has scheduled a Mandatory Bidders Meeting to visit the site, examine the scope of work required and the existing conditions.

An information session and site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2015 commencing at 14 h. Bidders will meet Mr. Martin Legris at the National Research Council, 75 de Mortagne Boulevard, Boucherville, Quebec. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site and their bids, therefore, will be rejected as non compliant. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE

Bidders should advise the Contracting Authority of their intention to attend this meeting and the number of attendees planned.

As proof of attendance, at the site visit, the Project Authority will have an attendance form which MUST be signed by the bidder’s representative. It is the responsibility of all bidders to ensure they have signed the Mandatory Site Visit Attendance form prior to leaving the site. Proposals submitted by bidders who have not attended the site visit or failed to sign the Attendance Form will be rejected as non-compliant.
