COMPREHENSIVE LAND CLAIMS AGREEMENT (CLCA): Notification of
procurement will be provided to the land claimant groups covered
by the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement
in compliance with CLCA requirements.
Aboriginal Benefits Evaluation: The Contractor has the ability
to receive evaluation deductions through the provision of Sahtu
Dene and Metis involvement in their bid. A reduction of up to
10% may be applied to the total assessed bid price base on the
provision of proof that your organization or service provided
meets the criteria stated in Aboriginal Benefits.
"The benefits that apply to this procurement are contained in:
section 6, Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claims
Agreement, clauses 12.2.1, (a), (b) and 26.2.8".
Work of this contract comprises the furnishing of all labour,
materials, equipment and supervision required for the general
construction of a Operations Trailer and related work for
Environment Canada, Norman Wells, NT, as specified /and or
indicated in the drawings and specifications.
Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms and
special instructions which are available directly from the MERX
site.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Bidders should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all
addenda issued prior to bid closing have been obtained and
addressed in the submitted bid.
