This procurement is set aside from the international trade
agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
and minority businesses. Further to Article 1802 of the
Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), AIT does not apply to this
procurement.

sheet pile containment wall around the perimeter of the south
and west jetties, and, associated works at the Public Works and
Government Services Canada, Esquimalt Graving Dock, 825 Admirals
Road, Victoria (Esquimalt), B.C.

There will be a site visit on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 10:00
AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Trailer
Boardroom behind the Operations Centre building, Esquimalt
Graving Dock, 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC.

24 hours prior to the meeting, to arrange access to site.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted.
Attendees will require steel toe boots, hard hat and high
visability vest
Delivery Date: The work is to be completed within thirty weeks
after contract award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost $5,819,000.00 GST/HST extra.
Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain
the tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services
provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX
services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid
calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases,
