Requirement:
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of its client Department of National Defence (DND) is organizing logistics for an upcoming international conference on November 14 and 15, 2017 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The contractor must provide a variety of rooms including meeting spaces to facilitate thediscussions, support space for the logistical team, rooms for bilateral meetings, delegation office space, interpreter rooms, observer room, and allocated space for media. The contractor is also responsible for providing meals and refreshments during the two-day conference.
The conference organizing staff and contractors will require access to the meeting rooms for the set-up of equipment starting on November 13th. Tear down will start in the afternoon of November 15th and should be completed byend of the day.
Sole Source Justification:

Approximately800 people will be attending the two-day conference. One of the rooms must be a minimum of 6,000 square feet with a minimum ceiling height of 15 feet and preferably with windows/natural light
The press briefing room and the media room each require sufficient power to be distributed to classroom tables for up to 100 laptops and imaging peripheral devices.
