Location: Esquimalt Graving Dock, 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC

Work Description:
Work of this contract comprises removal and replacement of an
existing concrete slab-on-grade, fill material, open concrete
cable trenches, utility boxes and heat trace wire & trench
located on the North Landing Wharf of the Esquimalt Graving
Dock, 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, B.C.

Site Visit
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

For personal safety everyone entering the site has to wear a
hard hat, steel toe boots and a security vest.

A site visit will be held on August 31st, 2012 at 10:00 AM local
time. Contractors are to meet at PWGSC Project Trailer located
at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC. Interested bidders are
required to provide their name(s) and company names to Tian Lam
at t•••••••@•••••.••.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the site
visit. The front gate commissionaires will only allow access to
the site if previous visitor information is provided and name(s)
appear on the visitor list.

Delivery Date:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twelve
[12] weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the
offer.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost around
$250,000 to $300,000.

Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services
provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX
services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid
calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases,
bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the
identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have
taken into consideration for their bid submission.

This procurement office provides procurement services to the
public in English.
