Amendment No.1 is to add a GSIN code to the RFP.
Amendment No.2 is to delete two clauses from the RFP document.
Amendment No. 3 is to extend the bidding period until April 15, 2021.
The organization is seeking to conduct a workplace culture and risk assessment to provide the Service with a greater understanding of its organizational climate. This exercise aligns with two legislative requirements: The coming into force of Bill C-65 (July 2019) amended the Parliamentary Employee and Staff Relations Act (PESRA) and requires employers to safeguard employees. In keeping with the Canada Labour Code, the Employer must regularly evaluate the physical and psychological risks in the workplace. The Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations (the Regulations) (https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/42-1/bill/C-65/…) under Part II of the Canada Labour Code (effective January 2021) require that the Service conduct a workplace assessment of risk factors that contribute to harassment and violence in the workplace.
