Nature of Requirements:
1. TITLE: COMPUTER SOFTWARE TRAINING, Cold Lake, AB
2. SECURITY:
All of the work is unclassified and the contractor will not have
access to any classified information.
3. REQUIREMENT:
The Department of National Defence, 4 Wing Cold Lake, has a
requirement to provide the following computer software training
courses on an "as and when requested" basis during the period of
the task authorization contract:
A. A full range of MicroSoft Office 2003, 2007 and Microsoft
Office 2010. The Contractor is to be able to supply instruction
in a new version of Microsoft Office if 4 Wing upgrades before
the contract expires.
Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook. NOTE: Because email
accounts are not available, the Outlook course will have to be
modified.
B. Windows 7 (user level) - to enable users to understand the
operating system;
C. Visio Level I & II;
D. MicroSoft Projects - managing projects;
E. Internet Security; and
F. Introduction to Internet.
CFB Cold Lake will be providing the training facilities
(computer lab), technical support and some administrative
support.
4. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
a) The Bidder must indicate compliance with the following
statement. "The firm or its training personnel have experience
in successfully presenting all of the courses being requested
and are currently able to provide the complete list of
requested courses.
b) Bidder is to provide the name and course title for two (2)
microcomputer training clients for whom you have provided
training in the past. In addition. it is requested that you
provide the address and telephone number of proposed references.
If this is not provided with your bid, PWGSC may contact you to
request this information.
5. CONTRACTOR SELECTION:
Selection will be based on the lowest priced technically
acceptable proposal, inclusive of all travel and living costs.
6. ESTIMATED FUNDING:
For planning purposes, the Department of National Defence, CFB
Cold Lake has established a budget of $50,000.00/year, GST
extra, for this requirement. This is not, however, to be
construed as an offer on the part of Canada.
7. PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
The contract period for authorizing task authorizations is from
August 1, 2012 to March 31, 2014, wiith an option to extend for
one (1) additional year.
This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
