1.1 The intent of this specification shall be to supply new equipment to replace the vessel’s existing Fuel Oil and Lube Oil Purification systems, to ensure that the systems will meet the Vessel Life Extension Program Goals of the vessel reaching a service life out to the year 2029 (15 years) with a minimum of breakdown maintenance required and assured parts and service availability
