Tender description
Within NRCan, the Transportation and Fuels Decarbonization Programs Branch (TFDPB) promotes energy conservation and use of low carbon fuels is committed to undertaking initiatives designed to reduce fuel use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Canada in support of Canada’s climate goals
TFDP, in coordination with the United States Department of Energy’s National Laboratories of the Rockies (NLR), aims to continue adding and updating Canadian Electric Charging and Alternative refuelling infrastructure locations to NLR’s web based Alternative Fuels Station Locator. For more than a decade NLR has provided this technical resource, which has taken the form of vehicle and fleet evaluations, data development and analysis, development of on-line tools and resources, and overall integration and management of this base of knowledge in Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) managed by NLR. (http://www.afdc.energy.gov/locator/stations/)
TFDPB’s Infrastructure Programs manages this and the related contracts.
