Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain
aConstruction Manager to provide the services for the project as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
The objective of this project is to rehabilitate the Central Sector within the Cultural Resource Management process to meet the requirementsof the Parks Canada Directive for Dam Safety; with a service life of 80-100 years for the new or rehabilitated structures as effectively as possible, with minimal impact on waterway operations, wildlife, the public including waterway users and neighbouring properties, and continued support of affected communities and municipalities. Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Parks Canada Agency (PCA), intends the services of a Construction Manager.
Proponents responding to thisRFP are requested to submit a full and complete proposal. A combination of the technical and price of services submissions will constitute the proposal.

(a) There will be a site visit on Thursday September 15, 2016 at 9:00 am.Interested Bidders are to meet at Lock 19 at 804 Morphet Ave, Peterborough ON K9J 8T2.
(b) Personal Protection Requirements: Visitors should dress according to outdoor weather conditions and wear safety boots or hiking shoes as well as a reflective vest asa minimum personal safety apparel.
