The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 1390 Vests, Soft Body Armour.
This requirement must be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-177, dated 2014-10-20, viewing sample and patterns. The Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The RCMP Viewing Sample and patterns will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.
This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods (See AIT – Article 504, paragraph 6).
The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
