SCOPE OF WORK :
Work of this project comprises mould abatement of shower units
located at the CSC Beaver Creek Minimum Security Institution in
Gravenhurst, Ontario. Abatement work is in support of shower
renovations in the living unit.
There will be an optional site visit on the 15th of March 2012
at 09:30 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at, Admin Building,
Beaver Creek Institution, 2000 Beaver Creek Drive, Gravenhurst.
ON - P1P 1W9, CANADA.
Bidders should communicate with the contracting authority no
later than 10:00 AM March 14th 2012 to confirm attendees to the
site visit.
It is mandatory to wear safety boots for this site visit; also,
as it is a federal correctional institution, no cell phones and
/ or cigarettes lighters are allowed on-site and must remain
locked inside the vehicles. Digital cameras will be allowed
on-site for the purposes of taking photos of the anticipated
work area only.
***Please Note: This site visit will serve as an opportunity
for contractors to walk around the site and view the area(s)
where the work is to be completed. Enquiries of a technical or
contractual nature will not be answered during the site visit.
The work is scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2013.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and
Contract Documents. The Standard documents are issued by Public
