Background
HMCS ATHABASKAN will be undergoing a ship's refit with Seaway
Marine & Industrial Inc, located at 340 Lakeshore Road East in
St. Catharines, Ontario during the period of 01 May - 31 October
2012.
Requirement
In support of the refit, ten (10) personnel from Halifax will
remain in St. Catharines to work at Seaway Marine & Industrial
for the time period of June (upon contract award) to October 30,
2012 with an option to extend should the refit not be completed
as scheduled. These personnel will require commercial
accommodations and potentially meals during this time period.
During this period, the ten (10) personnel will change three (3)
times over the duration.
Safety
Accommodations shall comply with all applicable industry
standards for cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
Basis of selection
Madotory criteria
Accommodations cannot be more than a twenty (20) minute commute
from the shipyard, and in accordance with all of the specified
amenities, found in the Annex "A" - Statement of Work,of the
Solicitation document.
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be
declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

requirement and the bid evaluation and contractor selection
methodology.
This procurement is limited to Canadian services.
This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.
