The research facilities at Natural Resources Canada CanmetMINING have a need for a bench-top fully automated high-vacuum sputter and carbon coater that can deposit thin conductive films on specimen surfaces suitable for electron-based microbeam analysis.
The Contractor must provide all of the following:
1. One bench-top fully automated high-vacuum sputter and carbon coater, including operator and training manuals, all hardware, all accessories and power supply, with delivery and transportation to Natural Resources Canada 555 Booth St Ottawa, ON;
2. 50m of carbon thread;
3. Delivery and installation of the bench-top fully automated high-vacuum sputter and carbon coater at Natural Resources Canada 555 Booth St Ottawa, ON;
4. One year warranty including on-site Verification, Calibration, Repair and Maintenance Services;
5. On-site training at Natural Resources Canada 555 Booth St Ottawa, ON; and
6. Operating and training manuals.
Delivery Date:
a) The Contractor should deliver the fully automated high-vacuum sputter and carbon coater, including operator and training manuals, all hardware, all accessories and power supply and the 50 m of carbon thread on or before November 15 2020.
b) The Contractor should complete the on-site installation within 90 days of delivery of the items listed under a) above.
c) The Contractor should provide the on-site basic training within 30 days of completion of the onsite installation.
