The Camrose Courthouse, constructed in 1979, does not have a standby generator and is vulnerable to prolonged power outages that could disrupt court operations and damage critical building systems housed in the basement. This project will install a new standby generator system, including a heated enclosure, automatic transfer switch, emergency power distribution, and associated infrastructure, to ensure reliable backup power. The work also includes replacement of the obsolete main distribution panel and full commissioning and testing.
