Notice Amendment 001 is issued to advise the changes to the estimated ("as & when requested") quantities as follows:

Requirement:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Woven Badges. The badges must be made in accordance with the RCMP specification G.S. 1045-266 dated November 2, 2017, and the viewing samples.

Item 1: quantity 300,000 units, 2135-108 Badge, Shoulder, Police
Item 2: quantity 5,000 units, 2136-209 Badge, Shoulder, Police with hook tape backing
Item 3: quantity 500 units, 2138-506 Badge, Shoulder, Transport
Item 4: quantity 1,000 units, 2142-100 Badge, Shoulder, Subdued Navy with hook tape backing
Estimated quantity:
This requirement also includes an estimated quantity of 400,000 units. The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract. Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the quantity of "as and when requested" goods is only an approximation of requirements.

Pre-Award Samples and Supporting Documentation
Pre-award samples, Certificates of Compliance and laboratory test results will be requested after the bid closing from lowest bidders.
Viewing Samples
Viewing samples will be provided to bidders who are requested to provide pre-award samples. The viewing samples must be used for guidance of the manufacturer in all factors not covered by the specification. Variation from the specification may appear in the samples in which case the specification must govern.
Contract Financial Security
If bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to ten percent (10%) of the contract price.
Canadian Content Policy
This requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods.
Enquiries
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
