Work of this contract comprises of the construction of a new
Minimum Security housing unit (3,456 m2..) at Grand Valley
Institution.
Work also includes new services infrastructure connected to
existing services at the Institution, including sewer, water,
gas and access roads as specified in the specification and
drawings.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on January 11, 2012 at 1:00
P.M.(1300 hours) at the site. Interested bidders are to meet at
the site, Grand Valley Institution, 1575 Homer Watson Blvd.
Kitchener, Ontario.
Contractors can access the site from Manitou Drive as indicated
on the cover sheet drwg A-000
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit attendance sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted. Bidders are requested to register with the Contracting
Officer, Sheila Dhanna at 416-512-5855, to confirm attendance
and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, 24
hours prior to the site visit.

The duration of work is schedule to be completed by FEBRUARY 28,
2013.

Closing date: FEBRUARY 14, 2012, 14:00 HOURS.
