Requirement
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) through National Policing Services has a requirement for 30,000 DNA Blood Collection Kits and 1,000 DNA Buccal Collection Kits for the National DNA Data Bank (NDDB), which must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements as specified in Appendix A - Statement of Work.
Optional Requirement
Irrevocable option to purchase up to 30,000 DNA Blood Collection Kits and 1,000 DNA Buccal Collection Kits per year over 3 option year periods under the same terms and conditions and at the prices and/or rates stated in the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority and will be evidenced, for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
