To create, organize and manage the activities of a Research Advisory Committee and a Project Planning Committee that will develop a research proposal for an epidemiological study to assess the health status of commercial vehicle drivers in Canada. Both committees are to work in a complementary fashion to (1) conduct an environmental scan aimed at identifying relevant source of information/databases, (2) decide on the best methodology for the research, and (3) produce a detailed research proposal for the completion of the study. This proposal will be used as a master document that will be adapted as need be and submitted to various granting/funding agencies and potential funding partners for the ulterior realization of this project.
