Nature of Requirements:
ROLLING MILL
Natural Resources Canada has a requirement to procure a
laboratory scale Hot and Cold Rolling Mill to support many
research programs aimed at the development of new alloys and the
material's associated processing requirements.
The work includes engineering design, fabrication, installation,
commissioning and training of a basic rolling mill.
Delivery MUST be completed by March 31, 2014.
Mandatory Site Visit
Mandatory site visit will be held on May 30, 2012 at 10:30 am at
Natural Resources Canada, 183 Longwood Road, South, Hamilton,
Ontario L8P 0A5. The bidder must have at least one attendee at
the site visit to be given consideration. The onus is on the
bidders to arrive at the site at least 15 minutes prior to 10:30
to sign in and get badges. Bidders arriving late may not be
permitted to attend the site visit.
Bidders interested in attending the site visit are requested to
advise PWGSC by fax to (819) 953-4944 or by e-mail to
j••••••••@••••••••.••.ca no later than Monday, May
28, 2012.
NOTE: Bidders attending the mandatory site visit must bring
safety shoes, safety glasses and a hard hat. Metered parking is
available around the facility on Frid Street ($0.50 per hour)
and at the McMaster Innovation Park parking lot ($5.00 per day).
