The National Energy Board requires a provider to implement an initiative to enable public access to CSA Z662 – Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems to assist the Board in meeting the following objective:
The NEB has received requests from various stakeholders over the years for access to CSA Z662 – Oil and Gas Pipeline Systems, which is the principal design standard for NEB-regulated pipelines and is incorporated by reference in the NEB’s Onshore Pipeline Regulations. In order to assess the appropriate approach for enabling public access to this standard, the NEB is undertaking an initiative to provide web access to CSA Z662. The initiative was started in 2017-2018, and this portion of the initiative is for 2018-2019.
