A Contractor is needed to provide an update of the health burden and costs of tobacco use in Canada. The Contractor hired will provide a final report (with executive summary) that examines the morbidity, mortality and economic costs of tobacco use in Canada, the provinces and territories based on the latest data available at the time of contract issue. The final report will summarize the number of Canadian deaths attributable to tobacco use as well as a valuation of the economic costs (considering both direct and indirect costs) associated with tobacco use.
