Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) - National Maintenance Services for Time Division Multiplexor (TDM) Private Branch Exchange (PBX), Key Telephone Systems (KTS) and Related Equipment – REFRESH
THIS IS A REFRESH OF SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT# 2B0KB-123122.
This refresh permits new suppliers to submit their interest via RFP response, in order to potentially become a Supply Arrangement Holder for the National Maintenance Services.
New fully compliant suppliers will be issued Supply Arrangements and their names will be added to the existing Supply Arrangement Holder lists on the condition that they meet all of the requirements of the original Request for Supply Arrangements.
For your information and to assist you in preparing your arrangement, copies of the Questions and Answers released during the original solicitation period are available upon request.
REQUIREMENT:
This RFSA is being issued by Shared Services Canada (SSC) to Refresh the Supply Arrangement that provides maintenance and support services for existing Time Division Multiplexor (TDM) Private Branch Exchange (PBX), Key Telephone Systems (KTS) and related equipment across Canada, as and when ordered under any Resulting Contract(s). The services may be required for equipment from several Original Equipment Manufacturer(s) (OEM) such as Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel-Avaya, Mitel, Ericsson, Sony, Fujitsu, NEC and Panasonic.
A Supply Arrangement allows Canada to solicit bids from a pool of pre-qualified suppliers. The intent is to establish a framework for the expeditious processing of individual solicitations which result in legally binding contracts for the services defined in individual solicitations that fall within the scope of the supply arrangement. Only suppliers who are qualified suppliers (SA suppliers) at the time of individual solicitations are issued will be eligible to compete or to be awarded contracts as described in this RFSA.
PERIOD AND ESTIMATED VALUE OF THE RESULTING SA’s:
The Supply Arrangements will be for a period of 2 years with 2-1 year options to renew and will remain valid until such time as Canada no longer considers it to be advantageous to do so. As the requirements for which this method of supply can be used will only be identified in the future. The volume and value of future requirements are unknown at this time.
PERMANENT NOTICE:
The resulting Supply Arrangements will remain valid until such time as Canada no longer considers them to be advantageous to use them. SSC reserves the right to choose to proceed with a different procurement vehicle for the requirement if it considers such action appropriate.
Important: This specific tender notice does not replace or affect the tendering procedures in place for the procurement. Businesses are still required to respond to bid solicitations and to compete based on established bid criteria.
