Nature of Requirements:
There will be an optional Bidders' site meeting on Tuesday, 29
July 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of Parks Canada, is seeking tenders for the provision of all
materials, equipment, personnel, supervision and labour
necessary to provide replacement of approximately 800m of
potable waterlines with 50mm diameter HDPE pipe. Installation
includes replacement of five building water services.
Implementation method to be either open cut or Horizontal
Directional Drilling at Elk Island National Park, Edmonton,
Alberta.
Completion Date: 10 weeks from Contract award
Drawing and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT1)
contains the Drawing and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional Bidders' site meeting on Tuesday, 29
July 2014 at 10:00am. Directions to the Bidders' site meeting
is as follows:
Elk Island National Park entrance is located on Highway 16,
approximately 27km east of Highway 21.
- Turn north onto Elk Island Parkway from Highway 16 and proceed
10km north on Parkway. No need to pay Admission Fee at entrance
Kiosk, as purpose is Bidders' site meeting.
- Turn left after "Park Operations" sign. Proceed 3km along
gravel road toward Park Operations.
- Turn left at "Y" junction and proceed 300m to entrance of
Operations compound. Meeting location will be at entrance to
compound
