Title: Classification Renewal Initiative
Description of the Requirement:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a need for a Contractor to aid the Organization and Classification Center of Expertise (OCCOE) in the successful roll-out of the Classification Renewal Initiative.
The Classification Renewal Initiative was launched in 2019 in an effort to change the Organization and Classification Center of Expertise (OCCOE) service delivery model to meet these new pressures. However, this initiative requires additional resources to meet its aggressive timelines.
The initiative is divided into two phases:
Phase I aims to address issues related to over-allocation of positions, incorrect reporting relationships in PeopleSoft, and position loaning.
Phase II aims to address classification anomalies, outdated job descriptions, and inefficient organizational structures by focusing on organizational re-design projects.

Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from Contract Award to March 31, 2021.
The optional period of contract shall be from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
Estimated Level of Effort:
The estimated level of effort of the initial contract period will be for 303 days.
