For the rental of canoes and accessories for IRONMAN 2012 as
detailed herein for delivery to the Department of National
Defence at CFB Petawawa, Ontario.
Delivery of canoes required for Ironman 2012 which is being held
on September 6 & 7, 2012. All canoes must be delivered on or
before 5 September 2012 and be picked starting 2:00 pm on
Friday, 7 September 2012. Department of National Defence will
commit 2-3 personnel to help with the unloading/loading of the
canoes. It will be the responsibility of the successful
contractor to advise the DND project/site authority of the times
the canoes will be arriving/leaving the base.
The Contractor shall ship free on board (FOB) destination,
including all shipping charges. Unless otherwise directed,
delivery shall be made by the most economical means. The
Contractor shall make deliveries to the Consignee by appointment
only. The Contractor or its carrier shall arrange delivery
appointments by contacting the Consignee. The Consignee may
refuse shipments at no cost to Canada should this procedure not
be followed.

3 Bailer Kits - 750 ml capacity with 50' of buoyant heaving line

4 Life Jackets, qty 175 large and 125 extra large. CSA
approved, vest-style life jacket. EACH 300
PWGSC reserves the right to DECREASE the Contract quantity by an
amount not to exceed 20 percent. Exercise of this option shall
be by written notice from PWGSC BEFORE 31 AUGUST 2012.
Debriefing: After contract award, bidders may request a
debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders
should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15
working days of receipt of notification that their bid was
unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by
telephone or in person.
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
