Nature of Requirements:
The closing date of the Request for Proposal is changed from March 17 to March 23, 2017, 2 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
Statement of Work:
The Contractor must lease ?portable VHF radio sets? in accordance with the statement of work at Annex A of the Request For Proposal.
The number of portable VHF radio sets to lease:
1) At the contract award: 75.
2) In option: 28 (additional quantity).
Minimum Performance Characteristics of Equipment
Each portable VHF radio set:
Must operate attemperatures varying between -20 and +60 degrees Celsius;
Must operate at frequencies ranging from 30.20 MHz to 87.775 MHz;
Must have an output power of 5 W;
Must weigh a maximum of 1.5 kg including the battery pack;
Must meet standard MIL-STD-810G;
Must have a minimum of 10 pre-programmable channels;
Must have 25-kHz spacing;
Must be FM (F3E) digital frequency modulated;
Must be compatible with STANAG 4204, 150 Hz tone squelch in legacy mode.
Period of the Contract:
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract and will continue with a lease period that starts on the day the hardware is accepted and ends 24 months later with one additional year in option.
Optional Quantity of 28 of radio sets: Lease period of 24 months.
Canadian Content:
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian services.
Trade Agreements:
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
