The Metallurgical Fuels Laboratory of CanmetEnergy-Ottawa has a requirement to upgrade one (1) optical microscopy to allow it to carry out metallurgical observation on coal/coke and detailed analysis of the experimental products from simulated high-temperature furnace to increase understanding of the fundamental science of the coke making process as well as the interfacial reactions between iron ore pellet and gaseous reductant. The components required to complete the upgrade of the optical microscopy include a motorized stage, a high-resolution CCD camera and image analysis software.
All delivrables which includes delivery, installation and training must be completed on or before December 31, 2022.
