National Research Council of Canada have a requirement for the supply, 3-year extended warranty, installation, training and manuals for a Light Optical Microscope. This microscope will be used for the evaluation of microstructural properties of ferrous components including (but not limited to): wheels, rails, welds, frames, bolsters, rail car panels, etc.

Delivery will be made to Ottawa, Ontario and must be received on or before March 31, 2017.

The Light Optical Microscope must meet all of the requirements listed in Annex "A" of the RFP in order to be deemed compliant.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
