Prince Albert, SK, Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Boiler Controls Upgrades
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number EV385-190383/A, dated June 14, 2018, with a closing of July 12, 2018 at 14:00 h. CDT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
Work under this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is managing the boiler controls upgrades for the three central boilers at Correctional Service Canada’s (CSC) Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
The project scope involves upgrading the boiler controls for all three boilers which will be integrated into a new digital control system; also, the burners and combustion management systems on boilers 1 and 2 will be replaced to match the recently installed equipment for boiler 3; as more fully described in the Drawings and Specification.
It is imperative that the boiler operations are not compromised as the boilers provide heat during heating season and steam all year to produce hot water for the facility. The current controls for boilers 1 and 2 are obsolete and parts are not readily available.
Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $1,000,000.
