Requirement:
To carry out the drydocking, maintenance and alterations of the
Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS Samuel Risley" in
accordance with the provided Specification No. 728.11, Rev.1,
dated March 28, 2012.
Vessel Transfer Costs will apply to all bids for evaluation
purposes.
Insurance Requirement:
A minimum Ship Repairers' Liability Insurance coverage of $10M
per occurrence, will be a requirement of the resulting contract.
Bidders' Conference:
A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will
be held at CCGS Base, Parry Sound, Ontario on May 9, 2012 @ 1000.
Site Visit - Vessel:
The viewing will take place on May 9, 2012 @ 1300 at CCGS Base,
Parry Sound in Ontario.
Destination:
The work shall be carried out at Contractors facility.
Work Period:
Work Perod: June 18, 2012
Complete: July 25, 2012
Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy
(1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex
1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
