NOTICE TO BIDDERS
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W7707-175962/A dated February 8, 2017 with a closing of February 23, 2017 at 14:00 AST.
If interested, a debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who had bid on the previous solicitation.
The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada has received a requirement on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Atlantic Research Center (ARC). DRDC maintains two acoustic calibration facilities. The Bedford Basin facility is used primarily for low frequency calibration. The Grove Street location facility is used for high frequencies. The Bedford Basin facility had a data acquisition upgrade in 2014. The Grove Street location upgrade will duplicate that system. Identical systems are required of thecompatibility of software interchangeability of components and user familiarization. This improvement will add to the reliability and consistency of results, while enabling more advanced calibration techniques.
