Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for Elevator Upgrades at the Data Taxation Centre, St. John's,
NL. The work includes all labour and material to modernize two
(2) elevators designated on site as Elevator 1 - Freight and
Elevator 2 - Passenger, including but not limited to the removal
of redundant components, as well as associated electrical and
structural work.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. It is recommended that bidders visit the site and its
surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work,
the means to access the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty
of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain all necessary
information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances
prior to submitting bid.
2. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 30 - Health and Safety
Requirements of specification before performing any site
inspection or preliminary work at site.
Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R5110T (2013-04-25) for the Code of Conduct and Certification
provisions applicable to this requirement.
