Nature of Requirements:
1-Requirement:
This requirement is for the establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for CORCAN Industries-Correctional Service Canada for the supply of various fabrics (end use: blankets).
Item 1 : Orange (with printing) - Width: 1.63m, Weight: 255 g/m² estimated usage/year: 5,000 metres
Item 2 : Various colours - Width: 1.63m, Weight: 340 g/m² estimated usage/year: 3,000 metres
Item 3 : Various colours - Width: 1.83m, Weight: 340 g/m² estimated usage/year: 18,000 metres
Item 4 : Various colours - Width: 1.98 m, Weight: 340 g/m² estimated usage/year: 1,000 metres
Various colours includes: Dakota green, Grey, Navy blue, Orange, and Royal
2-Technical Requirements:
The items must meet the technical requirements specified at Annexes "A" and "B" of the Request for Standing Offer (RFSO).
3-Period of Standing Offer
The Standing Offer will be valid from the date of issuance of the Standing Offer for a period of one (2) years with the possibility to extend for two (2) additional one-year period.
4-Delivery:
-For the first order of each item:
Delivery of the first order of each item must be completed within 45 calendar days from the notice of approval of the pre-production sample or production sample when a production sample is required.
-For subsequent orders of each item:
Delivery must be completed within 45 calendar days from receipt of the call-up document.
Items are to be delivered in British Columbia to the following locations: Agassiz, Abbotsford and Mission.
5-Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. If two (2) + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be considered.
6-Enquiries
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
