Polar Knowledge Canada has a requirement for three 60hp four stroke outboard motors with tiller drive as specified in the solicitation, and additional equipment listed, to be fitted onto POLAR’s vessel "Iqaluk". This vessel will be used in the Bay around Cambridge Bay and in various large lakes in the community vicinity. This solicitation also includes options to purchase up to two more additional motors.
The proposed requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements: Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
