Request for Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) during a
one (1) year period to provide services on an "as and when
requested basis" to the Department of National Defence for
provision of hydrostatic testing and maintenance of fire
extinguisher maintenance and of portable fire extinguishers,
recharge extinguishers, charge nitrogen cylinders and pressure
test stand pipe hoses.
The requirement is inclusive of all labour, material, equipment,
supervision and transportation required to carry out the duties
as identified, in accordance with I.A.W. NFPA 10 (2011 Edition).
Area under the direction of ASU Chilliwack: Lower Mainland and
greater Vancouver area units
Service and Performance of work shall begin within twenty-four
(24) hours after an authorized call-up against the standing
offer is submitted; unless otherwise agreed to in advance by the
Site Authority.
Extinguishers shall be picked up for service/maintenance at the
designated site:
(A) ASU Chilliwack

Work shall be completed within five (5) days from the
commencement, unless otherwise stipulated by the Site Authority.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
