1. Scope

1.1. Purpose

The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) requires contracted support for the set up of our new office spaces at the Joe Tobie Building in Yellowknife 2nd and 3rd floor

1.2. Background

JTFN HQ space require an increase of workstation to accommodate the growth in personnel. The modernization will increase the number of workspace and accommodate member sit/stand stance during their work hour.

3. Requirements

3.1 Tasks

The Contractor must provide the furniture, the delivery of them, the installation of them. All equipment must be delivered to the CAF representative indicated, and timings for delivery are to be coordinated with the CAF representative.

3.2 Technical Requirements

The Contractor must provide with the following minimum:

  • 10x U- shaped Height Adjustable desk with a file storage pedestal approx. 72W x 96D x 48H
  • 4 x Bookcase approx. 30W x 12D x 65H
  • 7x Flip top tables approx. 60W x 24D x 29H
  • 1x L-Shaped reception desk approx. 72W x 72D x 47H

3.3 Client support OR (Contractor responsibilities)

The Contractor must establish an English speaking point of contact(s) to provide customer service on a twenty-four (24) basis, seven (7) days per week in order to maintain cell phone data and calling services; and

The Contractor must replace any defective goods within 14 days.

3.4 CAF responsibilities

The CAF will notify the Contractor of irregular service issues if/when they arise; and

The CAF will advise the Contractor immediately upon discovery of any damaged to the goods or to shortfall about the services;

The CAF will identify a POC for the requested services at the start of the contract. This designated POC is the CAF TA (Technical Authority), or representative, for whom the work is being carried out. The TA is responsible for all matters concerning the technical requirements of the work.

4. Deliverables

4.1. The Contractor must provide the services detailed in Section 3 of this Statement of Work.

All item locations will be outlined prior to install for which room they all go into.
