Health Canada’s Communications and Public Affairs Branch (CPAB) provides media monitoring, analysis and reporting for traditional media, social media, web, stakeholder discourse and reactions. Local, regional and national media are monitored regularly every day to provide current intelligence in a timely manner to employees.
CPAB currently has contracts in place for traditional media monitoring services (news media and social media), however requires a specialized tool that allows the Branch to determine the number of “social shares” of news media articles (URLS and topic) of interest to Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
This Statement of Work invites proposals for a specialized tool that will quickly analyze the number of “social shares” of online media stories (by URLs and topic) across multiple social media networks. The results must be provided in both total shares as well as showing which news articles performed best on a particular social media network (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
