Nature of Requirements:
The CTA requires a cost-effective and affordable non-hosted web-based commercial off the shelf (COTS) software solution purpose built for risk assessments that works, is bug free and has an ongoing development/enhancement cycle. The purposed solution must be able to be configured to align with the CTA's compliance risk assessment methodology. The risk assessment software solution (risk assessment tool) must be user-friendly, (i.e. easy to use and understand for people who are not experts in software solution), as the users of this risk tool will be non-technical business users. The risk tool will be run against data about the CTA's over 1,500 regulated entities in the air, rail, marine and interprovincial bus sectors.
