Project Description: Gatineau Park- Guardrails replacement
Project concerns the replacement in Gatineau Park of 2055 linear meters of existing guardrails that have reached their useful lifetime and are therefore outdated. Construction works include the mobilisation/demobilisation, site clean-up and re-instatement of damaged areas, environmental protection measures and other related works, pedestrian/cyclists management plan during construction (as parkways will remain open to public), the demolition and transportation off site of the existing structures (guardrails), all works related to the excavation and transportation of contaminated soil so to eliminate them towards authorized sites

TENDER CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 3pm EDT (addendum 2)
CONSTRUCTION TIME: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than seven (7) weeks after contract award.

Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in GI15 of the General Instructions to Bidders, enquiries should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided.
There is a public opening scheduled shortly after the bid closing time at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, ON on the 2nd floor.
