DELIVERABLES / SCOPE OF WORK
The work covered under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labour, equipment and material for the repair and refurbishment of the fog alarm building at Estevan Point Lightstation. The Estevan Lightstation is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, along the coastline of Hesquiat Peninsula Provincial Park. The staffed lightstation is approximately 55 kilometers SW of Gold River, with coordinates Lat: 49.382975, Long: -126.543962. The station can be accessed by helicopter.
The Estevan Point Lightstation is currently in operation with staff working and residing on site.
In general, the project includes the following items
Mobilization/Demobilization
Lead paint abatement
Concrete repairs
Minor interior demolition
Interior finishing
Installation of vapour retarders
Installation of exterior insulation
Installation of exterior metal cladding
Installation of new roof membrane
Replacement of owner supplied windows and doorsSITE VISIT
A site visit has not been scheduled for this project
