Requirement:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a
firm quantity of 496 ERT Armor, Hard Plates Insert Level IV.
The Plates must be in strict accordance with purchase
description PD-SE-44 dated 2012-05-30, Annex B, and the viewing
sample for use with Armored Vest, Load Carrying and Vest Armored
Special Duty. There is a shipment of 16 plates to be delivered
to the RCMP detachment in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The Nunavut Land
Claims Agreement is applicable for the 16 plates shipment.
In addition, this requirement also includes two options of 100
each:
- Options may be exercised for the periods as follows:
Option 1 available for exercising for 12 months from date of
contract award.
Option 2 available for exercising 24 months from date of
contract award.
Delivery request:
Delivery of the firm quantity is requested by January 31, 2013
or sooner, and April 30, 2013 for split shipments to B.C. And
Alberta (see Annex A).
Destination:
The armor plates are to be delivered to RCMP detachments across
Canada as specified in
Annex B.
Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.
