The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking feedback from industry on Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor Standard-NIJ 0101.06, certified level III, Stand-Alone Hard Body Armour that is less than 4.0lbs per plate and available as a commercial-off-the-shelf product. In addition, Hard Body Armor must be capable of defeating a single 77 grain 5.56mm hollow point round at 2800fps. Plate sizing requested is 10” by 12”.
